What is disability insurance?

If an injury or illness has left you unable to work, disability insurance provides you with a tax-free monthly payment to replace your income and help cover expenses. Both visible and non-visible (i.e., chronic pain, metal health issues) disabilities can qualify.

How it works:

Step 1: Choose the amount of coverage you want, and customize your coverage by adding on additional benefits.

Step 2: Pay your monthly premium.

Step 3: If you become disabled, file a claim.

Step 4: Receive your monthly payment after the waiting period ends.

Step 5: Your payments will stop either because your benefit period ends or when you return to work.
